Here are the 8 easy steps to avoid making errors:


Step 1: Choose Your Products

Select the products you want to sell and ship through FBA. Ensure they comply with Amazon’s guidelines and are suitable for FBA. Be mindful that Amazon will charge FBA fee in addition to commission, make sure your selling price is high enough.


Step 2: List Your Products

  1. Go to Seller Central: Log in to your account and navigate to the "Inventory" tab.

  2. Add a Product: Click on "Add a Product" and enter the product details such as title, description, price, and other relevant information.


Step 3: Convert to FBA

  1. Select Your Products**: In the inventory list, select the products you want to send to FBA.

  2. Convert to FBA**: Click on "Change to Fulfilled by Amazon" and follow the prompts to convert your listings.


Step 4: Create a Shipping Plan

  1. Go to Inventory: Navigate to the "Manage Inventory" section.

  2. Select Products**: Choose the products you want to ship.

  3. Create a Shipping Plan: Click on "Send/Replenish Inventory" and follow the steps to create your shipping plan. This includes specifying the quantity of each product, the packing type, and the shipping method.


Step 5: Prepare Your Products

  1. Labeling: Ensure each product has a scannable barcode. You can either use the manufacturer’s barcode or print and apply Amazon barcodes.

  2. Packaging: Package your products according to Amazon’s packaging guidelines. Use sturdy boxes, proper padding, and make sure products are secure.


Step 6: Print Shipping Labels

  1. Print Labels: After completing your shipping plan, print the provided shipping labels.

  2. Attach Labels: Attach the shipping labels securely to your boxes.


Step 7: Ship Your Inventory

  1. Choose a Carrier: Use Amazon’s partnered carriers or your preferred carrier, Australia Post etc.

  2. Ship the Boxes: Drop off your packages at the carrier's location or schedule a pickup. Track your shipment to ensure it arrives at the Amazon fulfillment center.


Step 8: Monitor Your Shipment

  1. Track Your Shipment: Use the tracking information provided by your carrier to monitor the shipment.

  2. Confirm Arrival: Check Seller Central to confirm that your inventory has been received and is available for sale.
